The road to Damascus

Hehe, it's pretty cheesy but of course I had to have a blog post with this title. I decided to make my trip to one of the worlds oldest and most amazing cities extra special by walking and hitchhiking from Lebanon. I walked for about 4 1/2 hours from Aanjar across the border to this sign and then 10 minutes later got a ride and 20 minutes after that I was in Damascus. While walking I was stopped three times to have tea with people along the way.
