Liverpool

Albert Dock, and an unwelcome reminder of my failed sailing attempt. The boats around the dock are from the Clipper 07-08 Round the World Race, the one that I had signed up to take part in and went to training for. I didn't think of it when I booked my flight from Amsterdam to Liverpool but this was a week before the start of the race. I would have had to have been there to prep for it. Crazy! What a disaster that was.



There was an international chess tournament going on in Liverpool. The 13 year old Chinese girl at the table that is front and center on stage is Hou Yifan, a Grandmaster, and the 4th highest rated woman in the world.
